A cold winter day didn't keep 14 cowboys from attending the shoot. After 3 stages, we had lunch provided by Mud Marine. Since it had started to snow heavily, everyone decided to call it a day. Before everyone left, we lined up and did a shoot gun salute to Jackpine.

Doc, would post on the club web site that the custom coffee cups that was ordered Oct 8th will be at the next shoot on Oct 22nd for delivery. They need to be paid for at that time, $10.00, and for those that did not order one last time and want one, we will take their order then. Thanks, Rowdy Jumper.
We had a great turnout for our work party and now have a new roof on the club house. A big thanks to all that showed up and especially to Mud Marine for bringing lunch. No match was shoot.

Sunday-August 27
ATTENTION ALL SHOOTERS:
The Club house is in need of a new roof. At the next shoot, September 10, 9:00 AM, we will have a work party to repair it. Hopefully there will be some time afterwards to do some shooting so bring your tools and your guns.
Great weather brought out 27 cowboy and cowgirls to the match. Hoss Face and Ridge Runner introduced a new category called High Plains Drifter. It consisted of the shotgun, one pistol and a long range single shot rifle. Only one pistol was used and half of the rifle target were shot. Still, their times were worse than than normal. Mr. Shorty tried one stage and Doc Bandit did 2 stages HPD.
After the shoot, Elfego, Cap'n Crump and Doc Bandit went over to Jack Pines to do a some long range shooting.
Here is Elfego telling one of his stories with Cap'n Crump having a hard time believing it.

Sunday-July 23
On very hot Sunday, 12 cowboys showed up to the match. In spite of the heat, everyone had a great time. Mud Marine brought the fixing for sandwiches and potato salad so we had a great lunch.
In doing the scores for this match, I discovered an error in the spread sheet calculations. I have corrected the problem and recheck all scores for this year. Any changes needed have been made. (There was NOT a problem with the Charlie Bull Shoot Scores) I apologize for this inconvenience.
A BIG thank you to all you cowboys that have paid your dues. To anyone who has not, please download the application and send it in or bring it to the next shoot. We have over 30 members signed up.
I want to thank Elfego for sending in most of the photos used.

It was great to have Mad Millie Black back.

And lastly. One of the offending pards that was NOT wearing the correct foot wear, has seen the error of his ways and gotten himself some cowboy boots.

Sunday-July 9
On a hot sunny summer day, 19 want-to-be cowboys came out to play the game. Mud Marine was back from End of Trail so we had 'fresh' chili to top off the shoot.
New officers were elected for the coming year. Cocollalan was reelected as president with Cap'n Crump being voted in as Vice President. Also, Doc Bandit was reelected as Sect/Treas and Marshall DJ continuing as Safety Officer.
Membership dues are payable NOW!!! If you do not pay, you will be charged the non member shoot fee the next time you shoot!!!

Lastly it seems that we will have to vote a new office of 'boot police'. Several pards (which at this point will remain nameless) have been coming to the shoot in less than 'cowboy' foot wear. Hopefully they will see the error of their ways and repent from this wrong doing, so they can again be known as a true 'cowboy'.
