Even though it was only 2 days before Christmas 10 cowboys and cowgirls showed up for great day of shooting. After the match, Mud Marine served Christmas dinner.

Just a reminder,. If you want to be warm during the shoot, don't forget to bring a few pieces of wood for the stove each time you come.

A perfect day brought 22 cowboy play. Everyone was happy that Mud Marine returned and brought his famous chili.

On a hot summer day, 17 cowboys showed up with 16 finishing the shoot. Mud Marine provided an excellent lunch. Please note that he will be away for a while so plan to bring your own lunch until September.

Election of Club officers were held with the following cowboys elected:

President: Wm Hughes Crumpler, "Cap'n Crump"

Vice President: Ed Messia, "Oddman"

Secretary / Treasure: Carl Zmuda, "Elfego"

Safety / Range Officer: Ron Bame, "Stretch"

Only nine cowboys showed up for the shoot with most of the shooter being at Mica's annual shoot. Six stages were shoot .

Since there were not enough club members present, the club officer's election was put off till next shoot so get prepared to get involved.

Also, the annual dues are payable now.

Its that time of year again. It is time to renew you club membership. The new year starts July 1,2007. I have been handing out new renewal form or you can download one by clicking here.

Also, we will be electing new officers at the next shoot. If you don't show up, you may find your self with new responsibilities. We may have candidates for president and vise president already but will need someone to do secretary treasure and possible range officer.

Rain threatened to dampen the spirits of 15 cowboys when they came out to play. However, the weather turned better and everyone had a great time.

Only 6 cowboys showed up for the shoot. Likely, they were still recovering from our Annual Memorial Shoot. Six quick stages were shoot and everyone had a great time.

A great day of shooting greeted 19 cowboys including 1 new shooter (Rusty Irons).  We shot 4 stages followed by final clean up of the range for the Memorial Shoot and  by lunch prepared by Bill Me Later.  A 'welcome back' to Hogan, who continues to make everyone look bad and to Splitthumb who has been practicing all winter.

Remember the work party on Sunday, April 15th.  We will be starting at 9:00 AM.  
Bring your tools and gloves.


Another great day of shooting was had by 18 cowboys and cowgirls.  We started the day off with a Easter egg hunt which was won by Alley Cat.  Atter 6 stage, Mud Marine served lunch.  He out did himself by serving ribs, beans, biscits and apple pie.

Please take Note:  Starting April 8th, (the first shoot of April), we will be starting summer hours with sign in at 8:30am and shooting at 9:00am.  Also on April 15 at 9:00 AM there will be a work party to start getting the range ready for the Memorial Shoot.

Rain greated 17 cowboy for another day of shooting.  However, only one cowboy forgot his ammo so he didn't get to shoot.   Six stage were shoot with lunch being served by Mud Marine.

 We've got a couple local Old West reenactments scheduled so far this year, similar to what we did at Silverwood a few years back but on a smaller scale.

Ten hardy souls showed up to enjoy another day of great shooting in spite of the weather being cold.  Mud Marine made lunch with some new recipes that he was trying out for the Memorial Shoot.  Everything tasted great.

Another day of bad weather greeted 19 cowboys came out to have some fun.  In sprite of the rain, 6 stages were shot with lunch being served by Mud Marine.

Hoss Face had a very bad day.  His rifle kept jamming up and the front sight of his pistol came off.  As any good cowboy would do, he improvised and taped a .22 case to the front of the barrel. (photos below)

A heat wave greeted 24 cowboy with the temperature in the 20's. We shot 6 stages with a break for lunch served by Mud Marine. The scores have been posted. - Doc Bandit

Cold weather finally came with the temperature being -8 degrees F when thirteen cowboys showed up in spite of the cold. However, it should be noted that Mr. Shorty and Waddie Bill were not up to the riggers of being a cowboy and left without shooting.
