Behind the Scenes
On the center spread in September, Sandy Compton tells the story of dismantling Mr. Johnson's barn. He speaks eloquently of the process- what he didn't mention was that he had fun as well. At right, he's shown carrying one of the massive beams they removed. Of course, a tractor was carrying the other end.
Interviewing is hard work. At left, Trish is trying to conduct an interview of "The Bobbies" for the story Ospreys Howling and Pink Cottonballs in the midst of a party of friends at The Squeeze Inn in Clark Fork.
Interviews are hard work- Part II. For the August issue of TRJ, publisher Dennis Nicholls wrote about Putt A Round, the area's only miniature golf course. Here, he and Putt A Round owner Charlie Quenzer are hard at work checking out the difficulty of the course.
